After much pondering and squeezing in computer time throughout the day, I decided I need Blog Rules….yikes. Yes you read right. BLOG RULES. I guess I feel that the computer could easily take up a lot of time in the day. I remember one point in my life, probably just over a year ago, where I could not live with out my computer or iPhone. Now I think twice about things like that. I write things down in my ‘list book’ and save the computer tasks to the end of day when Nikolas is asleep or deeply involved in an activity.
You see, I do not want to take time away from him and his interaction with mommy. Niko loves to watch me cook, clean, and even get ready. We talk to each other, I show him things…it is our day to day life interactions that teach him things and I cannot give that up right now.
So here are the few rules I came up with. I may add to these at a later time but for now I am ok with these:
1. No blogging while Nikolas is awake
2. No blogging about too personal things that my family may not appreciate at a later time.
3, Do not blog just for the sake of blogging.
4. Make an effort to read other blogs.
5. This writing thing is my hobby. Make it fun!
I think that if I can follow these rules I will be a very happy mommy and Nikolas will maintain his super happy baby boy status too!
On December 30, 2012, Daddy C and I were blessed with a beautiful baby boy. We named him Nikolas. A classic, strong and charming name for our first born baby boy.
This is Niko seconds after he was born:
And this is Baby N about a month ago right after a bath.
How fast he has grown up from a squished little face and loud, (very loud) cries, to smiles and giggles all day long. Don’t get me wrong, he still cries. His cry is very loud. He’s got quite the personality this little guy. Charmer by day, and havoc reaper by night! He definitely lets you know when he wants something.
I have decided that I don’t want to get to deep into the whole delivery and birth of baby Niko. I know many people love to read about others experiences but I think I will keep mine private. I want to focus on our lives now and how happy we are living day to day together, not so much the past. I will however bring my opinion on certain issues that pertain to raising baby. For instance I choose to breastfeed and would have it no other way. I am not against formula and Niko has had it before, but I do know the benefits of breast milk and want the absolute best for my babes. But that is for another day…
Today this is who I am hanging out with: My special little guy whom I love to pieces. Growing like a weed and keeping mommy very busy. I love you Nikolas!
